| Put Your Faith in Action! Become a Faith in Action Volunteer |
| Who are Faith in Action Volunteers? Our volunteers come from ALL walks life. The most important qualification that our volunteers have is a true desire to make a difference in someone's life. Faith in Action volunteers are patient, non-judgemental, and willing to make time for others. Faith in Action volunteers work around their own schedules. They may volunteer once a month, or every day! Volunteers choose what type of services they would like to provide, and where they would like to Volunteer. Faith in Action wants our volunteers to take care of themselves, too. Our volunteer opportunities are many. You can give a neighbor a ride to the doctor, deliver or prepare a meal, help someone with their shopping, or just spend a half hour visiting with someone who would like some company. If you would like to put your "fix-it" skills to work, consider becoming a volunteer for our Home Repair program. All of our volunteers are screened and trained to protect our Care Recipients. | I shall pass through this world but once. Any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. -Etienne de Grellet |
